Department of Mechanical Engineering signed a cooperation agreement with Thai TDS in order to establish an Industrial Automation training center. The event was held on Monday 20 November 2017 in FTI UII audiovisual room and invited industry players and representatives from universities in Yogyakarta. With this MOA, cooperation will be established between the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Thai TDS in developing knowledge and training for lecturers in the world of automation. Besides, students can also do field practice at TDS Thailand.

After the opening ceremony, the participants joined PLC training in three days at Mechatronics Laboratory.
