Counseling Training for Academic Supervisors

Department of Mechanical Engineering, FTI UII held a counseling training for academic supervisors which is one of PHKPS 2017 programs. The invited speaker was Dody Hertanto S.Pd., M.Pd, a lecturer from UAD. This agenda was attended by all teaching staff at taking place in the FTI Post-graduate Room on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. The implementation of this event is expected to increase the lecturers’ knowledge to have a better understanding and motivate students to be enthusiastic and successful.

Method and Assessment Instrument of Learning Outcome

In order to improve the quality of learning in Department of Mechanical Engineering, a workshop was held on methods & instruments for measuring learning outcomes. A speaker from Department of Civil Engineering UII, Berlian Kushari, ST., M.Eng., describes in detail the methods and instrument in assessing students’ achievement in learning. The event was held in the FTI Post-graduate Room on Thursday, September 28, 2017 and was attended by all lecturers from Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Department of Mechanical Engineering UII has Collaborated with TDS Thailand

Department of Mechanical Engineering signed a cooperation agreement with Thai TDS in order to establish an Industrial Automation training center. The event was held on Monday 20 November 2017 in FTI UII audiovisual room and invited industry players and representatives from universities in Yogyakarta. With this MOA, cooperation will be established between the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Thai TDS in developing knowledge and training for lecturers in the world of automation. Besides, students can also do field practice at TDS Thailand. After the opening ceremony, the participants joined PLC training in three days at Mechatronics Laboratory.
